From Amazon MGM Studios, comes a brand new series by Derek Haas. Haas is an industry veteran, very well known for FBI: International and his work on the Chicago franchise (Fire, P.D., Med and Justice) produced by Wolf Entertainment. His shows have a reputation of the highest quality, strong ratings and consistent viewership. For Countdown, Haas is not only the creator, but will also serve as executive producer and showrunner.
Jensen Ackles is on tap to be the leading man for the series and will be working alongside Eric Dane, Jessica Camacho, Troy Blendell, Violett Beane, Uli Latukefu and Elliot Knight.

Plot Summary
Countdown starts following a suspicious murder in broad daylight, which leads to LAPD officer Mark Meachum being recruited to join a secret task force of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement to investigate. But as the truth of a more sinister plot comes into focus, the team must overcome their conflicting personal agendas to unite and save a city of millions.
